The International Event of animated film for children and youngsters "AniFestROZAFA 2011" is unique in its kind in Albania. "KOHA e FËMIJËVE" (Children’s Time) organization, a non-profit organization, organizes the Event under the auspice of Mr. Lorenc Luka, Mayor of Shkodra Municipality, and with the support of Shkodra Municipality and National Cinematographic Centre (QKK). This Event is in compliance with the principles of ECFA (European Association of Film for Children).
Many animated films from 55 countries have arrived in the offices of the International Event of animated film for children and youngsters "AniFestROZAFA2011". After a tiring work, the staff selected 191 animated films and decided that the vent take place from September 23rd until October 1st, 2011 in the art-loving city of Shkodra.
THE PROGRAM OF THE EVENT IS:
- Seminars, meetings, workshop discussions and exchange of the experience between the creators and children who are working on making a movie.
- The International Competition Session of animation schools including films made by children under 16 years old.
- The International Competition Session of animated films for children.
- The International Competition Session of animated films made by students from universities and academies of animated films.
- The International Competition Session of author animated films - independent
- The International Competition Session of animated films made by film companies
- September 23 -25, 2011
From September 23rd until September 25th, children and youngsters will be the protagonists of the event, trainings, seminars, workshops and films made by children from different European countries.
In the premises of the Children’s National Center (QKF), in Shkodra, and in the premises of the "PJETER MOSHKALLA" High School, there will be held the open Training, Seminar and Workshop with teachers, painters, students, children and fans of animated film. The topic, "How to make an animated film in practical conditions at a low cost", will be moderated by Erling Ericsson from Sweden. During these days, some 50 animated films made by children will be screened -
Belgium, Iran, Egypt, Slovenia, Croatia, Russia, Finland, Scotland UK, Turkey, USA, Serbia, England.
The children jury composed of 25 members will select the best films and the films with artistic value.
- September 26th until October 1st, 2011
The three international juries will asses animated films which will be screened on: MILLENIUM Cinema, Shkodra, "MIGJENI" theatre, Childnern’s National Centre (QKF) Shkodra, in the premises of "PJETER MESHKALLA" high school cinema, in the premises of the Village of Peace , and in the premises of "KOL IDROMENO" pedestrian street, Shkodra.
1 – The children jury will asses:
- "The best animated film for children" There are 18 animated films competing form 14 countries such as: Belgium, France, USA, IRAN, Lithuania, Germany, Brazil, Slovakia, Portugal, etc.
2 – The international jury composed of five members (Greece, Poland, France, Kosovo, Albania) This jury will asses student films and Independent film (Author):
- " The best animated film made by the students” There are 42 animated films made by students competing form universities of 18 countries such as: Serbia, Germany, USA, Israel, Romania, Denmark, Turkey, UK, Austria, The Netherlands, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland, Russia, Brazil, Belgium, Slovakia, Japan.
The universities that have gained the right for competition with the films made by studnets are as follows: "University of Arts in Belgrade" , " Columbus College of Art and Design", " Faculdade De Arquitetura E Urbanismo Da Universidade De São Paulo", " Bezalel Academy of Art and Design ", " Academy of Media Arts Cologne ", " National Film and Television School ", " Scuola Internazionale di Comics ", " Academy of Fine Arts University of Zagreb”, " Filmakademie Baden-Wüerttemberg ", " FTF VSMU", etc.
- "The best animated Author- Independent film" There are some 39 animated films from 24 countries including France, USA, Belgium, Romania, Canada, China, UK, Estonia, Poland, Slovenia, Italy , Hungary
Norway , Switzerland , Lithuania , Canada, Laos PDR, Germany, Taiwan , Czech Republic , Spain, Japan, Poland, Turkey, Netherlands.
3 – The international jury of professional films composed of three members (Holland, France, Hungary). This jury will asses films made by production companies and realized by very well-known creators of world animation.
"The best professional animated film” There are 42 animated films from 20 countries such as: France, Trinidad & Tobago, Switzerland, UK, USA ,Poland, Australia, Hungary, Kosovo, Denmark, Canada, Finland, Portugal, Sweden, Croatia, The Netherlands, Belgium, Iran, Albania, Ukraine. Some well-known companies include: "SACREBLEU PRODUCTIONS", "Vivement Lundi !", "Trunk Animation UK ltd", "Lardux Films", " Creative Animation", "Kecskemetfilm Ltd", "Ursula van den Heuvel", "Novatorfilm", etc.
