Jean-Jacques Prunès

Jean-Jacques Prunès was born in 1956 . From 1971 to 1979 he studied graphics at the CET in Paris before studying animation at CFT Gobelins. In 1979 he worked for the Hanna-Barbera studios in Los Angeles as an animator and storyboard artist on TV series. As director he won various prizes for “Eugenio”, including the Silver Pulcinella, for the best TV film (Positano, Italy 1999) and “The King of the Cloud Forest”, which won the prize for Best TV film at Annecy and Auch 2003. He has storyboarded for many series and helped on the animation for features like “Rock-a-Doodle” and “Asterix in Britain”. He was involved in the graphic research for “Pinocchio”, in 2000, and worked on personal film projects.
